June 2013 Desktop Calendar

June 2013 Desktop Calendar

Go ahead haters… go ahead and hate. Yes – I moved the calendar from the bottom right to the bottom left this month – for one month only. It just covered all the action in the lower right-hand corner of the image. That steam rising by the way – is the most famous geyser in the world – Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park. As I am heading back there in early June, I thought it was a) fitting to use a Yellowstone image this month, and b) suck it! I’m moving the calendar…

After hanging out in the dark of night to make star trail pictures about five hours earlier – I was out early to catch the blue hour, in the fog and steam, of the amazing Geyser Basin at Yellowstone. In the fog particularly, the word magical does not even do it justice. It was beyond magical – or something otherwise whimsical.

So enjoy your lower left calendar for the next 30 days and if you can’t get to Yellowstone soon enough, well grab yourself a desktop calendar and salve your wounded pride for a month:
