Photographer Jim Richardson recently had a wonderful photo essay about Scotland’s Hebrides Islands in the January 2010 issue of National Geographic. The collection is just beautiful but even cooler is that Jim has a blog and he’s going through a behind-the-scenes process on a number of the images he made for that story. A very wonderful look into a landscape photographer’s thinking/muse and it looks like an excellent blog to boot.
The articles start here – and move forward in time – so take a look. And ignore the fact that my photo above is actually in southwestern Ireland – as close to Scotland as I could reasonably get.
