My Day is Complete…

The World is Flat

…and it’s not even 7:30am yet.

I got to spend 20 minutes with Joe McNally this morning – and I got to learn quite a bit of nuance about controlling color and mood. Then as a bonus, I got to learn a little more about stroboscopic flash. It could go completely downhill from here and I will be okay with that.

The better news – you also can spend 20 minutes with Joe – by heading over to Nikon’s Learn and Explore area where Joe they’re hosting videos of Joe talking about Control of Color (Part I, Part II) and Repeating Flash. Even if you shoot some other brand of camera, this is good basic stuff. And even if Nikon calls their Repeating Flash RPT, Canon has the same thing on their flashes – they just spell it MULTI. Go watch and learn. Your day will be better.
