Tonight’s Moon

Limberger PerhapsBonus Friday item: If you get a chance, check out tonight’s full moon. It will be closer to Earth than it’s been since 1993 – 221,560 miles away, making it look 30 percent brighter and 14 percent larger than 2008’s other full moons. Here’s the news from National Geographic – but read it later – go out and take the dang picture now. Get your biggest lens and get close. Start at 1/ISO at f/11 (i.e. 1/400th at ISO 400 at f/11). Go!

  1. I was wondering earlier if ‘The Tree’ and the moon might get together tonight… 🙂
