A Twist For A Friday Afternoon

Clean DreamWell, we’re about three months into the Central Illinois Photoblog. Millions of people are coming here everyday and the ad revenue is through the roof. Oh wait – that’s Joe McNally’s blog. The guy hasn’t written anything in a week. I’m going into withdrawal.

But seriously… we’re gonna open up this forum a little bit now. I’d like to introduce you all to Bill Shaner. Bill is another photog here in Central Illinois. He co-administers the Peoria Flickr group with me and is a fine sports shooter. We who are Bradley University alums try not to hold it against him that he did some time at Illinois State University. But I digress.

Bill will be our first contributor to the CIPB. He’ll be publishing a series of interviews with Central Illinois Photographers. The first one is slated to appear any day now and will feature a famous Peoria-based commercial photographer who loves his blue saturated skies. These interviews will in some way be cross-posted to the Peoria Flickr group (Bill will weave his magic) but the rumor is that WE get the full interview here – while those lazy flickr folk will only get the highights. Man – do we rock or what?

So welcome Bill – we’re looking forward to being schooled. And leaving lots of comments.
